How to Become a Member

To Become a Member of Park Forest Cooperative – Birch Street Townhomes:

  • Fill out the required application and submit all required documentation.
  • An application fee of $75.00 per applicant is required.
  • Provide proof of an annual income of at least $27,000 for an individual applicant. An additional $2,000 is required for each additional occupant of the townhouse. Seniors 65 and older must prove an annual income of at least $20,000. An additional $2,000 is also required for each additional occupant. 
  • Applicant’s credit history will be evaluated.
  • Applicant’s background history will be evaluated.
  • A $37.50 fee for background checks for all occupants 18 and over is also required.
  • A personal interview with the Property Manager will be scheduled.
  • The Applicant’s application and all above information will be reviewed by the Park Forest Cooperative – Birch Street Townhome’s Application Committee. Approval for Membership will then be determined.
